These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders of Il Guanciale products and to the use of our website https://ilguanciale.al. Il Guanciale is an Albanian brand of premium pillows based in Tirana, Albania.

By placing an order, you accept these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. Sections marked “for consumers” apply only to individuals buying for personal use. Business customers, such as hotels, may also have a separate written agreement with us, which takes priority over these Terms.
2. Products
We describe our pillows, materials and sizes as accurately as possible. Small differences in colour or appearance may occur because of screen settings and photography. Product certifications shown on the website apply to the products or materials for which they were issued.
3. How to order
You can order using the contact form on our website, by email or by phone. After we receive your request, we will confirm availability, price, delivery cost and delivery time. The contract is formed when we confirm your order and you accept the confirmation.
We may refuse or cancel an order if a product is unavailable or in case of suspected fraud. If you have already paid, we will refund you in full.
4. Prices
Prices are confirmed in our order confirmation, including any delivery costs. For business customers, prices may depend on quantity and are set out in the offer or agreement.
5. Payment
You can pay by:
- Cash on delivery – you pay when you receive your order;
- Bank transfer – using the bank details in our order confirmation or invoice;
- Card – processed securely by the bank or payment provider. We never see or store your card details.
Business orders may require prepayment or be paid according to the terms in the invoice or agreement.
6. Delivery
We deliver within Albania. The delivery time and cost are confirmed when you order. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by holidays or courier delays. Please check your order when you receive it and tell us straight away if anything is damaged or missing.
7. Right of withdrawal (for consumers)
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason. To do so, contact us at info@ilguanciale.al within this period.
- Return the product within 14 days of telling us, unused and in its original packaging.
- For hygiene reasons, pillows that have been removed from their sealed protective packaging after delivery cannot be returned, unless they are faulty.
- The cost of returning the product is paid by you, unless it is faulty or we sent the wrong item.
We will refund the price of the product within 14 days of receiving it back, using the same payment method or by bank transfer.
8. Faulty products and warranty
If a product is faulty or does not match its description, contact us with photos and your order details. We will repair, replace or refund the product in line with your rights under Albanian consumer protection law. These rights do not affect your right of withdrawal.
For business customers, warranty and returns are governed by the offer or agreement; if none applies, the provisions of the Albanian Civil Code apply.
9. Product care
Please follow the care instructions on the product label. We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect washing, misuse or normal wear and tear.
10. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including the Il Guanciale name and logo, product photos, designs and texts, belongs to Il Guanciale or is used with permission. You may not copy or use it for commercial purposes without our written consent.
11. Liability
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under Albanian law.
12. Personal data
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Albanian Law No. 124/2024 “On the Protection of Personal Data”.
13. Complaints and applicable law
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@ilguanciale.al. We will reply as soon as possible and try to resolve it fairly. Consumers may also contact the consumer protection authorities in Albania.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania. Any dispute will be resolved by the competent courts in Tirana, without affecting any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on this page when you placed it.
